How to Manage Posts ( Edit, tag, delete)

By managing your posts, your Edmodo groups will always stay organized. If you realized you made a mistake after sending a post, you can easily delete or edit the post. If you ever have trouble keeping your binders neat, this will solve any problems!
How to Edit a Post or Reply
You can edit messages and comments that you posted to a group by doing the following:
- Hover over the post or reply and click the blue arrow that appears in the top right corner of the post.
- Click “Edit.”
- Then click “Save” to save your edits.
Note: You can only edit your own post or reply.
How to Delete a Post
- Hover over the post or reply and click the blue arrow that appears in the top right corner of the post.
- Click “Delete Post” or “Delete Reply.”
- Click “Ok” to confirm.
Note: When you delete an original post, any links to that post will become inactive. For example, if you saved a specific post to your backpack and delete the original post, you can no longer access it in your library.
How to View a post in a new window
- Hover over the post and select the blue arrow in the top right corner.
- Click “Link to this Post.”
- Open a new tab in your web browser and paste the post link in the browser’s URL address bar.
Note: This will enable easier viewing of the post for teachers and students, and allows you to print the post.
How to Tag a Post
You can create your own set of personalized tags to help sort all your different types of posts. For example, you can tag all of your assignment posts as “Assignments” and all quiz posts as “Quizzes”. Tag your posts by doing the following:
- Click the “Tag” icon
below the post. - Create a new tag or select from the tags you’ve already created.
- Visit your Edmodo homepage and click the “Tag” icon
above the post bubble. Select any tag below to call up any posts associated with that tag.
