How to Search and Filter Posts

If you need to find a specific assignment, quiz or message, you can easily search or filter any type of post in your groups!

How to Search

1. Type your search in the search field on the Edmodo toolbar at the top of your homepage.
2. You can close your search by clicking the red “X” on the right side of the search filter at the top of the message stream.

In the search bar…

Search through your Posts:

1. Type in the keywords you are looking for and select the “Search posts” option that will appear just below the search box OR hit enter. Your search results will appear in your stream.

How to Filter Posts

1. Click the “Filter Posts By” button on the top right of your Edmodo homepage.
2. Choose one of the following filter options:

  • By Me
  • By Teachers
• Type:
  • Latest Posts
  • Alerts
  • Assignments
  • Feeds (RSS)
  • Polls
  • Quizzes
• More:
  • Direct
  • Recent Replies
