 What’s Changed?

Already an Edmodo guru? Please note the following changes to Edmodo:

 

• Location: Your Favorite features have moved to the top of the communication stream, making them easier to access. Click on a particular group to view:

• Post Filters
• Members page
• Folders
• Small Groups

 

• Calendar: The Calendar is now called the “Planner” and you have the option to view it in both Monthly and Weekly views. There is also the ability to create a task list.

 

• Grades and Badges: You can now find both from the “Progress” feature which appears on your blue Edmodo Toolbar in place of “Gradebook”.

 

• Student Accounts: Students can now use their profile as a “Student Portfolio”. They can view their  progress in classes and still view their learning styles. They can also view a list of possible badges that they can earn. The library is now officially called the “backpack” and has moved from the Edmodo Toolbar to directly under “Latest Posts on the left sidebar. You can find Google docs and student folders here. Students will be able to see shared folders from the grey toolbar at the top of their communication stream.
